Well, this #netbook for some reason keeps having trouble, when it didn’t like not even 6 months ago. The hard drive is super slow, so I’m guessing it’s dying. Does anyone know if they still make hard drives small enough for netbooks? Mine is an #eee pc.

Anyways, do you guys use any #VoIP software like #Skype, #Ekiga or some other solution when you want to hear someone's #voice? I've stayed away from Skype once they started to put in massive #ads and lots of other #unnecessary things.

BTW peeps if you want me to stop linking to that proxy because it exposes other's gopherspaces to the world as well, I'll gladly stop. For some people, the fact that gopher is a private space meant to share only among those "in the know" means a lot to some people, so I want to respect that. #gopher #sdf

Good afternoon #SDF and the wider #fediverse! Still trying #Matrix and #Riot.im! One question I have though, is does anyone still use any instant messaging stuff like #Jabber anymore? I know #AIM will be dead soon, and #ICQ/#MSN/#Y!M have all either died too or were bought out by someone else. I know SDF had a Jabber server but is anyone even on that?
