Apparently my !Devuan box was at #Jessie v1.0 already. Must have been part of the updates last week.
-
Yet another thing I keep repeating but I really enjoy running #jessie.

I know I keep talking about getting that #cyberpunk vibe but my current state really drives it home: Using a recycled older phone running #replicant to keep in touch with my wife and a few folks via encrypted channels over !xmpp (decentrali…

@stigatle You bet. I'm rebuilding yaics now since I copied it from a fresh install. I nuked my settings. I'm on #jessie at the moment.

It sure feels great to be back on #jessie.

Debian #jessie. I had to wipe and encrypt the hard drive. It was also a netinstall and I'm pretty far away from my access point. It was to be expected.

Hello from #jessie! Currently installing my frequently used programs and restoring some backups. Feels good to be back with Debian. It's a little slower and the packages are a little outdated but I know my way around much better. I've still got !trisquel running on my server.

Alright, time to just bite the bullet and reinstall #jessie so life can go back to normal. !trisquel mini was nice for a while but I'm too stuck in my ways. See y'all on the other side.

Grabbing a #jessie ISO and I hope to switch back to Debian this weekend. As an aside, I'm always amazed by Bit Torrent and I kind of wish I used it more. I also still really want to learn more about #gnunet

I may end up going back to #jessie but I want to figure out *why* I'm not fully enjoying !trisquel mini. One big part is the midori SSL issue, but I'd be back to an older version of midori with more bugs if I went back.I think a big pull of…

Well, !trisquel mini is nice but I miss my #jessie install.

Two weeks with !trisquel mini and so far so good. I do miss my #jessie install from time to time but this is tolerable.

Debian #jessie.

My display seems a little more fuzzy on !trisquel than it did on #jessie. Maybe my eyes are just tired...

Posting from the live image of !trisquel mini. It seems pretty snappy, maybe even faster than my #jessie installation. I just backed up all my stuff and I'll probably go ahead and install Trisquel Mini tomorrow given how late it already is.

The software in the !trisquel repos are more up-to-date than #jessie.

Trying to get the motivation to upgrade from #jessie to !trisquel mini on my netbook. I've been using Debian because I like the social contract but I'd like to have more modern software. Using a completely free distro would be nice but I don't think I've got any nonfree software installed with Debian. I'm going to clean the kitchen and think it over.

Still trying to decide if I'm going to upgrade to !trisquel from #jessie. I've been using Debian because I like the social contract and the community but I'd like to have more modern software and use a completely free distro.

I keep waffling back and forth between whether or not I want to move from #jessie to !trisquel on my netbook. I use Trisquel Mini at work right now and I think I'd like it locally. Mostly, I just want to get my hard drive encrypted but I'm …

Trying to get the motivation to upgrade to !trisquel mini from #jessie. New computing plan is to remove a good deal of browsing based things from my phone and keep it as voice/messaging-centric as I can, encrypt my hard-drive (not just my h…
