    Even if you're going for desktop use, stick with #Debian #Stable. I tried Debian #Testing with some clients (customers, not apps), and they had weird problems that I couldn't reproduce on my system. Also, the #Testing updates are massive and frequent.

    Good afternoon #sdf and the wider #fediverse! I am officially on #openbsd!

    At first I had some problems with my #video card, but after downloading some #firmware and updating it, it all works like a #charm! The only thing I miss is #utf8 major support that #debian had. I wish openbsd would take a page out of #plan9 's playbook in that regard!

    Now on my #todo list is get my #PF firewall running how I want it to and get sshd #protection in place!

    Good afternoon #sdf and the wider #fediverse! I'm getting back into the swing of things finally! Altho it seems Mastodon doesn't like #Firefox ESR, so I might have to download and use Firefox 57! I've switched from #ubuntu to #debian, but debian doesn't seem to like my #printer. Well, it doesn't really matter as I can always print using my #phone. #OpenBSD is next on my #todo list. I've also got to start #phlogging every day again! Can't forget about #gopher. Anyways, it's good to see everyone!

    Good afternoon #sdf and the wider #fediverse! Today it’s a cloudy day here and somewhat cold! Anyways, when I got home for the holidays, I decided to use the netbook I left here and install #Debian on it. Well, this #netbook for some reason keeps having trouble, when it didn’t like not even 6 months ago. The hard drive is super slow, so I’m guessing it’s dying. Does anyone know if they still make hard drives small enough for netbooks? Mine is an #eee pc.

    I personally use Windows 8.1 atm, but I plan to go back to #OpenBSD or use #TrueOS. If I were to use #Linux, it would be #Debian. I run a #RaspberryPi home server that I usually am ssh'd into(It runs Raspbian). I also use a Raspberry Pi 3 as a #retro gaming system. I have a #pizero and as soon as I get bluetooth speakers I'm gonna surround sound this place lol.
