   Ever since Firefox included PDF.js, I get frustrated whenever I encounter a PDF in Chromium.

     ISTR #Chrome on #Win8 has a built-in #PDF reader. Is this not the case for #Chromium on #GNU + #Linux?

     have none in my chromium (is not that uptodate but also not that old)
