I've been watching The Shield. And the government shutdown. Maybe someone should lock Obama and Boehner in a shipping container overnight...
-
@erkanyilmaz hard to tell. Web server was choking up once every day or two, not while StatusNet was disabled, and not yet since reenabling.
-
Urgh, seem to be having performance issues with my StatusNet install. Clearing out subscriptions to/from users that no longer exist...
-
Yesterday, I performed Harvest Moon on violin with Mike Celia for a marriage proposal. (She said yes!) Such a beautiful and special gig.
-
My Facebook account has been deactivated for almost a month now. Longest since I started periodic deactivations earlier this year.
-
My 22-month-born son, every time a YouTube preroll ad starts: "Uuuh Oooooh."

@lnxw37: I guess it's proprietary? https://status.blaise.ca/url/1596 In #Chrome but not #Chromium?
-
Trying out tosdr.org Very cool project. A bit concerned about privacy, but their website says they don't keep any logs.
-
Ever since Firefox included PDF.js, I get frustrated whenever I encounter a PDF in Chromium.
-
Just upgraded my ThinkPad T61 hard drive from 160GB to... 750GB. *exhale*
-
Finally: heybuddy works with status.blaise.ca! (1) Forced SSL API; (2) VerifiedHTTPSHandler didn't work, so forced urllib2.HTTPSHandler
-
@expatpaul hadn't heard of Grisbi, I'll check it out -- thanks for the suggestion!
-
@drak ah, neat. Probably sticking with a GUI though -- my wife isn't *that* comfortable with a CLI :)
-
@marc0s cool, didn't know about the Android app! I used GnuCash before, hard to keep up with... I think I'll go back to it eventually though
-
Working on a family budget. Leaning towards Calc over GnuCash for now, for simplicity. Any other recommendations?
-
Contribute to Mailpile's crowdfunding campaign. Seems like a step up on Roundcube for privacy/security? http://ur1.ca/feibt
-
@lnxwalt: yeah, good idea! Strangely enough, my blog post may have solved my own problem! If not, SuperUser it is..
-
@erkanyilmaz: unfortunately, I seem to be the top resource for "sogo syncevolution" on several search engines!
