     @wilkie Every time a !GNUsocial instance goes down I recommend its users to go out and enjoy the local neighbourhood/weather/whatever.

     Sorry for ruining your attempt at humour, but:
     1. This is a public network, I occasionally visit other profiles' homes instead of only looking at my own personal feed. So one can still read posts even though one's own instance is down.
     2. There are more communication networks where one communicates with fedizens.
