BeeMcBeeface (einebiene)'s status on Tuesday, 04-Apr-2017 15:47:21 EDT BeeMcBeeface I'm pretty pissed off. I just read up on the software that goes with my blood glucose monitor, and it turns out the company (and their partners) will have access to all my data. That's pretty damn intimate. When I eat and how much, when I sleep, how often I inject or check my blood sugar levels. And there's no way around that. And I get the feeling I also have to switch back to windows. :-( - Former Bob Jonkman -- Please use the new server at https://gs.jonkman.ca repeated this.

You're right, it's a huge privacy violation, and the End-User-Licence-Agreement allowing them to insert ads in your readouts just makes it worse. Do they make you sign up for an Outlook or Facebook account to keep up-to-date? I hope not. We need more !OpenHardware that runs !FreeSoftware. -

He was found dead days before his scheduled appearance. https://www.rt.com/usa/hacker-pacemaker-barnaby-jack-639/ -
