The domain name can be fixed/reregistered, but the closed source “native” app is lost, long obsoleted by mobile OS updates. Abject lessons in the fragility of single-vendor standards (compared to multi-vendor interop), and the ephemerality of native mobile “apps” (compared to repairable/relaunchable *websites*).
