   Thoughts on using Amazon software in a lab for datadriven innovation? Not as open as a FIWARE-environment but less hours for setup I guess?

     @thomasekvist Amazon's mostly just a storage platform isn't it? (with high, sometimes very unpredictable costs)
     If you're just going to use Amazon's storage API and similar, there are tons and tons of alternatives and self-hosting alternatives. There's for example a 100TB storage farm just outside of #Umeå accessible via S3 API and OpenStack technology! cc: @mikael
