!januarychallenge apart from biking to and from work I've taken a bike ride to a newly rented storage room (at least 20min fresh air), lifted a bunch of stuff that was freighted to the same storage room (physical activity), eaten salad, banana, grapes and will spend some time on #quittube later tonight!

@vinzv Guess! Based on the name I think you can see that it's The Next Big Thing.
(I think #MediaGoblin is too bloated for my purposes and want something that Just Works(!™) for converting video files)

@vinzv A hot tip is to register quittube.com right now!!! It'll be worth billions of internet dollars soon.

@vinzv The idea is of course to make it federate. First step is to make it do what it does and generate Atom feeds for it. Then all that's needed is a PubSubHubbub server, which I think should be a separate project.
Not sure I want upstream comments though, but federated discussions could take place on third party platforms using the same URI. (i.e. I want to make it easy to discuss in a federated manner but not necessarily host the written content myself to start with... video commentaries can turn rather nasty rather quick).
