@mmn @smj @cmhobbs @tuxxus !gnusocial I will say this, though. If we pick a day to advertise and inform people about Social, we need a catchy name for the hashtag. (Let's be honest, there has to be a hashtag. People love hashtags.)

@echosa The big difference between !GNUsocial and #GooglePlus is that the entire corpus of GNUsocial is available through standard protocols. I can't even view GooglePlus in my feed reader, never mind adding a message from a 3rd party client.
