   Updated #firefox and I get the goofy new tab page every time, even though the newtab url is set to about:blank, homepage is about:blank, and firefox is supposed to start with a blank page. This is frustrating as hell. /cc @jezra

     click the gear in the top right of the new tab bullshit, choose show blank page. unfortunately it's not actually a blank page. still new tab bullshit and i suspect i probably tracks things.

     @cmhobbs the new tabpage that Mozilla touts as providing "convenience and more control of your browsing experience", certainly lacks the "control" I had before it was implemented and my settings were clobbered.
