@taknamay I don't care for JavaScript and u especially don't care for the use of JavaScript outside the browser (I rarely tolerate it there). I feel like a lot of JavaScript projects amount to "when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail."

@taknamay I never looked at js that way. That mentality explains a lot of recent projects I've seen.

I tend to gravitate toward Common Lisp. Ruby pays my bills. Guile is my current fascination. I'm quite cynical when it comes to JavaScript, though. I've waded through piles of terrible js and I just don't care for it in general.

I've used it on the job before and I've done some tinkering in my spare time. I feel like Clojure did what the creators wanted it to do but it's not Common Lisp. I guess that's a long way to say I'm indifferent about it and I'm generally set in my ways. :D

Also, it feels pretty pragmatic.
