     @gomerx I saw something recently about a change of control for a 3rd party repo’s domain. Are you already aware of it?

     Yes. deb-multimedia.org is the only one I use. debian-multimedia.org is the one no longer controlled by Debian.

     @gomerx Seems to me that someone representing the #Debian project could file a trademark claim and take that domain down.

     I suppose. The domain switch was because Debian asked him to stop using the name. Then they didn't pick it up when it expired. :)

     So I guess debian-multimedia.org was never really controlled by Debian, but the repo was reasonably trustworthy.
