    Does anybody know of a decent Linux calendar app? No server, no web-based, just a calendar that supports appointments. Console or GUI.

      @windigo Lightning (in Thunderbird) and Evolution both support local calendars. Though, both programs are more than just calendaring tools.

      @balleyne I've used Lightning (and Sunbird before it) in the past, and loved it. Unfortunately, it crashes my Icedove setup. :(
