Tried #write.as, pretty cool! I heartily recommend it for blogging in the simplest manner possible, and given the privacy you get, it feels comparable to #gopher.

If you love distraction free blogging, and the fact that they support open source software and business models, I'd say to just create an account or just start anonymous blogging over tor right now!

I plan to publish some things using it, just to make it easier and more enjoyable for me.

Heya all! So I've started to use #Emacs Org-mode to do my site. I also plan to use it for #gopher. I don't know much #elisp, but I would like to learn more. Maybe I will become one of those emacs acolytes who use emacs for everything, including their window manager...

Good afternoon #sdf + #fediverse + #phloggers ! Still waiting for a distro to replace my Win10 machine! I'm thinking that until I can replace it, I'll use the #freebsd desktop I have.

I'm also thinking that I won't be running a #tilde, #gopher, #irc or any other type of instance atm because in order people to want to come to it, it's gotta be advertised and most people just wind up going to either SDF or tilde.town.

I still plan to use the #freedombox because it's amazing!

I am thinking of converting my #freedombox setup to a #tilde, and it should be rather easy to do so. As far as my #BBS goes, I am thinking of retiring that and just using that for a box that runs #syncthing and #gopher!

Good morning #sdf, #gopher users and #fediversers ! So, I compiled #synchronet on one of my pis. I think that BBSes are cool, and this one also supports having a gopher daemon. I'm not very artistic, but I do want to create a BBS for activists who want to shape a new and better internet, as well as for other things as well(Games, music etc lol).

Also, anyone know any good free #USENET providers and #newsgroups that are still active that are also friendly and aren't filled to the brim with spam? I'm not looking for piracy in the case of newsgroups, btw, so don't send anything related to that. Just social interaction/creativity. Same for #gopher!

Looking for more #podcasts about #freesoftware , #decentralized services, #web "1.0", #gopher and new ways of #organizing from the top to the bottom our everyday lives, whether that includes computers or not!

Good afternoon #sdf and the wider #fediverse! I'm getting back into the swing of things finally! Altho it seems Mastodon doesn't like #Firefox ESR, so I might have to download and use Firefox 57! I've switched from #ubuntu to #debian, but debian doesn't seem to like my #printer. Well, it doesn't really matter as I can always print using my #phone. #OpenBSD is next on my #todo list. I've also got to start #phlogging every day again! Can't forget about #gopher. Anyways, it's good to see everyone!

BTW peeps if you want me to stop linking to that proxy because it exposes other's gopherspaces to the world as well, I'll gladly stop. For some people, the fact that gopher is a private space meant to share only among those "in the know" means a lot to some people, so I want to respect that. #gopher #sdf
