I'm growing increasingly frustrated with widespread use of #facebook and #apple services for sharing group events. My son's school uses facebook and #instagram heavily to post pictures of the children (at least they ask for our permission), most of the regional lodges use facebook to schedule events and post information, and now parents from my son's class use iCloud to share pictures. I do feel a little left out but I'm unwilling to participate. I'm not entirely sure how to communicate that sort of thing tactfully. A recent job interview required that I use #linkedin and I was pretty rude about my refusal. There's no good way to avoid coming off as a tinfoil hat conspiracy nut when discussing such things.
