Outside of work, I've generally been refusing to use Google services to communicate with people with the exception of adding people to my #jabber buddy list that are using GTalk. I'll also email folks on GMail accounts, but I don't enjoy it. At work, however, everything is Apple and Google with the exception of our development environments.
